Smacks!

Some happy slapping smacks for you guys tonight. Stoked to be back in the Cruz after an extensive Ed conference in Sac Town. Stimulated, but tired. 'Nuff said. This fresh-ass post goes out to Anton Saleh, for being the biggest G in the room.

ZDS

The gentlemen from our friendly neighborhood Death Squad have come through with a half hour mix of all original material for us to digest and fawn over. Y'know what that means. Forthcoming release on Made In Glitch, late spring: "Cyber Dojo Lazer Training". Super clean and original sounds, gorgeously soulful glitch tapestries, woven by masters of the art. A perfect trifecta. Furthermore, these here fellows will be doing a future interview for the blog in anticipation of said releaase. We bring da hype. Below lies the player, here is the link.

LAZER SWORD
So Low Limit and Lando Kal have a new half hour mix. Need I say more? Right on. I will. It's pure art. Satisfied? Listen. And lobby for a download, 'cause quite frankly this shit needs to be saturating your MP3 players. Saturating. Funky, Garagey, Minimal, all the things you know, love, and expect from these combined ballers.

CRYPTEX
We are just RUNNING the thirty minute mixes tonight at woolofthelamb. Cryptex has compiled another half hours' worth of glitch excellence for you. We have gone through the motions of grand-and soulful-tripple-collab ZDS sonic shockwave type glitch, to artsy minimal selected Lazer Sword stuff, to full scale party-crunk glitch here. Very tasty in all regions, very tasty here. The tracklist is phenomenal, the transitions more solid than the washington monument. Not to be taken any less seriously than the rest. How is it that Cryptex steps it up right proper with every move? He's going places, that's how. He's making moves, he's on the move.

WHOLE-Z

Profound artistic mash from Whole-z (that I think Gestate will particularly appreciate). We have Coldplay's "Fix You" being gently rubbed and meticulously woven into "Throw some Ds". Say WHAT? So tight, and conveniently free due to it's bootleg nature. Very Kids & Explosions reminiscient. Do not skip it.

L&L
Another track from the head honchos of Lazer Crunk dancefloor domination. Crunchy and lurching, we hear L&L sounds in a new format. Simplistic, but heavy hitting. Mad respect to the eloquence of the sounds presented.
I'd like to take this moment to inform the populace that our Love and Light interview has been sent out, and we are awaiting confirmation on whether or not we get a blog exclusive track. Word. Up.

COGITO
Masterful Mason, always scratching my glitch itch. You know the itch. It's late Wednesday night/early Thursday morning and you're sitting, ass tired, on your couch going where the FUCK is all the pretty minimal composition at? Then Mr. Cogito goes "Hey y'all I got a new track!", and you poop your pants with pleasure and promptly promote the production. Yes yes. It's right here.

GETTER AND DREADY
A wonderful collab from our boys Getter and Dready Black. Dready kills it, though Getter could change it up a bit even if his handful of sounds are fairly clean. All around enjoyable track, but pay special attention to the wordsmith at work.
